Partial presets are presets which only store a subset of all parameters a node contains. When a partial preset is applied, only values for those parameters will be applied to the node. The rest will be unaffected. The Preset Manager contains additional assets with the goal of extending the usage of presets. Specifically, the nodes generate partial presets which are 100% compatible to Houdini's internal presets settings. The generated presets can be used and passed on without any of nodes installed which are used for the creation of them. The project is quite large and will be put up on github under an open source license. **Because of the size of the project and heavy testing on my side I don't have enough information about stability. So this release is considered a beta version. User feedback and or contribution is welcome.** Currently the package contains the following nodes. - Preset manager subnet. The low level core node. It can be used to create and apply partial presets. It can also be integrated in larger assets and provide functionality for selection and/or storage purposes. - Channel blender. The channel blender can be used to blend between multiple partial presets and generate new data from that. - Empty node. This node is just an empty python node. Its only purpose is to keep the state of the nodes from which presets are generated. Additionally it holds also data about the user selection. - Ramp fetcher. Used to get ramps including animation from the selected nodes. It also performs a linear blend based on the weight settings. - Spline/Color Ramp Blending. Handles the fitting and regeneration of ramps. - Scene Manager is a node for fast preset generation and spreadsheet population.
